The car’s form is defined by the interaction of lengthwise and widthwise curved cuts. Along the meeting points of these cuts, interesting surfaces and plastic details are generated. r o lling st o ries "Out of the box" is an expression that describes nonconformal, creative thinking. It is also a fundamental skill of a good designer. In this case, 41 young designers start with a standardized piece of wood with 4 wheels, dimensioned at 8 x 8 x 16cm and asked to come up with a form of an object away from the stereotypes and norms of the automobile. Allowed to work by removing rather than adding material, designers create a form “out of a wooden box”, taking into account not only visual but also tactile qualities of the final shape.
